Food Sense is a charitable organization with the aim to create, build and sustain a food education movement for preschoolers. We believe that every preschooler should receive a food education that empowers them to become more curious, confident and joyful eaters. Our curriculum is designed to provide preschoolers with positive and play-filled food experiences as well as opportunities to gain skills in preparing foods for themselves and others.
Just as we learn how to read and write, children must learn how to eat, how to talk about food, how to listen to their bodies and experience the connection that food can bring to their lives and their communities.
Creating curious, confident and joyful eaters through sensory-based food education.
We work towards a world where every preschooler experiences food in a positive and joyful way, building their skills in mindfully eating and preparing food for themselves and others.
